Sixth - Eighth Grade

The Entrepreneurship & Design Academy offers an interactive learning environment for middle school students who are self-driven, creative and have an ambitious spirit. Their core classes will include real-world problems that highlight the ups and downs of business ownership. They will also make prototype businesses and learn to work as a team. Additionally, students will learn the craft of web and graphic design and how to work with clients. They will advance their collaboration, presentation and leadership abilities through field experience and competitions.

Future entrepreneurs and designers will benefit from working with those who already own a business or are in the design industry.  Students will discover opportunities and learn about the academic requirements and lifestyle options each career provides. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average salary for individuals in these industries begins at $75,000 per year.
