Our Principal

I am thrilled to join the Permenter Longhorn family this year. 

Over the course of my career, I have served in a variety of leadership roles, including teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, associate principal, and principal. I  believe in building strong partnerships and developing sustainable leadership practices that support student growth and achievement.

I believe that education is a powerful pathway to opportunity and a means of improving lives and strengthening communities which is why I am committed to ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality education in a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington.

I've been married to my husband, Ked, for more than 20 years and we are the proud parents of three children: Madison, Mason, and Myles.
